CALGARY, Jan. 25, 2022 – SysGen Solutions Group is proud to announce that we have been recognized as one of Alberta’s Top Employers by Mediacorp, the organizers of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Alberta has experienced many challenges in recent years, but employers in the province have adapted to take care of their employees’ needs, as well as those of the communities where they operate. The winners of this year’s special designation recognize the Alberta employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
Some of the reasons why SysGen was selected as one of Alberta’s Top Employers (2022) include:
– At the outset of the pandemic, SysGen increased communications with employees, sharing developments, work from home measures, and tips on staying mentally and physically healthy — additionally, the company organized virtual events to help employees stay connected, including weekly SysGen Sips, a virtual year-end party with a theme of the Roaring 20s, and sales kick-off event with workshops and team competitions
– SysGen supports local, national, and international charitable organizations each year and encourages employees to give back with up to three paid days off to volunteer and matching employee donations (to a maximum of $1,000 per year)
– SysGen offers several financial incentives including signing bonuses for some employees, profit-sharing for some employees, and generous referral bonuses for employees who recruit candidates from their personal networks (up to $2,000 for successful hires)
“Providing a great experience for SysGeners ensures fulfillment, stronger teams, and an environment where people are excited to do great work,” says Ryan Richardet, President of SysGen Solutions Group. “During the pandemic, our workforce moved 100% remote, and ensuring a continuation of our culture online was paramount to creating a great place to work. We made a concerted effort to ensure that happened at SysGen.”
“Alberta has a hard-won understanding that life and employment realities can be impacted by far-away forces,” says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor at Mediacorp. “The province has overcome significant challenges in the past, and this has helped Alberta weather the pandemic and resource sector changes with greater resiliency.”
“The Alberta employers chosen for this year’s list show a strong understanding of the need to come together during challenging times,” adds Kristina Leung, Senior Editor at Mediacorp. “From taking care of employees’ wellness and mental health needs during the pandemic to supporting local community groups under strain, these organizations have gone the extra distance to keep people together.”
