SysGen Cares 2022 Logo

We love community engagement, and we’re always looking for new ways to get to know our community better and give back in a meaningful way.

Community engagement is a significant part of our company culture, and we’re always eager to show up for local nonprofits in any way we can.

In 2015, we launched SysGen Cares, a program solely focused on providing practical support to local nonprofits for the betterment of our communities. Through this program, nonprofit organizations receive financial donations as well as free IT support from SysGen for a two-year term.

North Okanagan Hospice Society

In 2023, North Okanagan Hospice Society became one of SysGen’s new recipients of the SysGen Cares program. North Okanagan Hospice Society was incorporated in 1984 as a charitable organization to support those with a palliative diagnosis, their loved ones, and the bereaved. Initially formed as a small volunteer organization with a visiting program, the North Okanagan Hospice Society is recognized as a leader in developing and delivering comprehensive hospice palliative care services.

SysGen understands the importance of its challenging work in educating and empowering those with life-limiting illnesses and providing palliative and respite care for grieving families in the Okanagan community. SysGen Cares is a program that offers two years of free managed IT services to support local nonprofits in achieving their missions with efficient IT services.

It is their mission to provide programs that use the bicycle as a vehicle for change in the lives of youth. In 2022, Two Wheel View moved to Inglewood, allowing for the expansion of programs, the growth of a social enterprise bike shop, and sufficient space for their growing Calgary team.
