SysGen Cares 2026

Calgary, Alberta: SysGen Solutions Group is pleased to announce the 2026 – 2028 SysGen Cares recipients. Following a thorough review process, two nonprofit organizations were selected to receive two (2) years of complimentary IT support:

  1. You Can Ride 2 (Edmonton, AB)
  2. Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Edmonton Central Council (Edmonton, AB)

 

About SysGen Cares
SysGen Cares is SysGen’s support program designed to help local nonprofit organizations strengthen their operations through dependable technology and expert IT guidance. Since 2015, the program has supported nonprofits making a meaningful difference in their communities. If selected, nonprofit organizations receive two (2) years of complimentary IT support to help improve efficiency, reduce technical barriers, and build long-term operational resilience.

 

About The Selection Process

Applications were evaluated based on community impact, organizational need, alignment with SysGen’s values, and readiness to benefit from IT support. The review process was completed collaboratively by the SysGen Cares Committee to help ensure fairness, consistency, and thoughtful selection across all applicants.

Meet The SysGen Cares Winners

You Can Ride 2

You Can Ride 2 was selected in recognition of its commitment to helping children with disabilities experience the joy and freedom of riding a bike. As a charitable program, the organization reduces barriers to mobility through adaptive cycling initiatives, including its Borrow a Bike initiative, Learn to Ride courses, and bike-modification support. With a fleet of more than 200 adaptive bikes and a strong focus on accessibility and inclusion, You Can Ride 2 is making a lasting difference for children and families across the Edmonton area.

 

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul – Edmonton Central Council

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Edmonton Central Council was selected for its long-standing commitment to providing urgent assistance to people in need across the Edmonton area. Through a large network of dedicated volunteers, the organization delivers practical support, such as food, grocery cards, furniture, household goods, and clothing, to individuals and families facing a crisis. Its compassionate, dignity-first approach and broad community reach reflect the kind of meaningful local impact that SysGen Cares is proud to support.

 

Looking Ahead

Over the next two years, SysGen will partner with these organizations to provide dependable technology support, trusted guidance, and responsive IT service. By helping reduce technical barriers, SysGen Cares is intended to give nonprofit teams greater capacity to focus on delivering vital services in their communities.
