It’s a wrap for SysGen’s second annual United Way Campaign!
Over the two-week fundraising campaign, SysGen employees proved their dedication to improving lives in the Calgary community. Staff became professional foosball players, got their cowboy on at our Stampede breakfast, and even geeked out with nerd trivia – all in an effort to raise funds for United Way of Calgary and Area.
“SysGen employees really got into events this year,” says Sylvia Greig, Office Manager of SysGen. “In addition to becoming jocks, cowboys, and nerds for our fundraisers, employees joined in a pumpkin carving competition, a jujube counting contest, and a silent auction.”
The second annual United Way Campaign marked a huge success for SysGen. Participation significantly increased from the 2013 campaign with 41% employee engagement. What’s more is SysGen’s fundraising total, which amounted to twice last year’s total and by far exceeded the 2014 fundraising goal at $6,234!
“We’re extremely pleased with the impact employees made with SysGen’s second annual United Way campaign,” says Lyle Richardet, President and CEO of SysGen. “I want to thank everyone who got involved in understanding the importance of United Way and dedicated their time and funds to building a stronger community.”
