Ryan Stock is our latest addition to the Field Service Management team and has been on an accelerated career path since joining the SysGen family. He has a passion for evolving technologies and is eager to learn about them.
Ryan started with our internal SysGenius desk and worked with the technical team until he was promoted to the field. As a field technician, Ryan provided day-to-day support to clients ranging from small-businesses to enterprise-sized oil & gas companies and non-profit organizations. Ryan was quickly recognized as a natural leader with a strong focus on customer experience.
Ryan received his diploma for Network Systems Administration from CDI College in Calgary. His focus and practicum helped gain real-life experience within a Windows Server and Cisco Networking environment. He has since been certified in Cisco CCENT, Cisco Meraki CMNA, and CompTIA A+. His field experience has given him working knowledge of VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Cisco Meraki, Office365 and a host of industry-specific applications.
After ten years of volunteering with different youth organizations, Ryan now volunteers for events that his four daughters are involved in. School field trips, dance competitions, soccer coaching, and community events are a few examples.
Originally from the BC Rockies, Ryan grew up fishing, hunting and prospecting for gold. Ryan is an avid fly-fisherman and hasn’t met a southern Alberta stream he doesn’t like. If there’s ever an excuse to use a chainsaw or air tools, Ryan is the first one to grab the gas or compressor. He’s also a sci-fi geek with a wealth of useless knowledge that keeps his trivia game standing an A+.
