Responsibilities:

  • Provide pricing quotes for product (hardware, software, licensing) and preparing orders with suppliers
  • Product sourcing, terms negotiation, purchasing, receiving, and keeping records of all steps in the process
  • Maintain and monitor order status and update all parties on supplier information such as delivery times and product ranges
  • Negotiate with vendors for the best price over contracted services and purchase
  • Review and compare approved quotes to prepare and provide purchase order to vendors
  • Follow and enforce procurement policies and procedures
  • Enter asset information into asset tracking software system
  • Responsible for shipping defective equipment to vendor and arranging replacement

 

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in business administration, or Commerce or education in procurement an asset
  • 1+ years’ experience in inside sales / procurement experience
  • Experience in ConnectWise Sell (Quosal), ConnectWise, or other automated quotation systems
  • Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms
  • Positive communicator with proven ability to negotiate
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High level understanding of various hardware/software technologies
  • Work effectively individually or as part of a team with great interpersonal and consulting skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
